Case Binding

Case Binding

The pages of the book are arranged in signatures and sewn or stitched together in the correct page order. Then, hard covers made of cloth, vinyl, or leather over cardboard are attached to the book using glued-on endpapers. Case binding does not mean the book is packaged in a slipcase, although a casebound book may be given a slipcase, which is a protective housing with one open end in which the book can be slid for protection.

Preparing Files

If you are using InDesign to layout your book, please export your file as a PDF for print, single pages NOT spreads.
For folding booklets or Zines we have Imposition software that can arrange all your pages in the right layout and order to be folded at the click of a button.
Make sure that before you export as a PDF (single pages not spreads), that all your links and fonts are on the InDesign file before exporting as a PDF or they will be lost when printed.
